Services
EditMe Websites provides website maintenance and related digital services.
The exact work included in your purchase will be described on the relevant service page, payment page, quotation or other written agreement provided to you.
These are digital services. No physical products will be delivered.
Prices and currency
All payments are charged in South African rand.
EditMe Websites is not registered for VAT. VAT is therefore not charged on the prices displayed.
Payment processing
Online payments are processed securely by Payfast.
Payment information is entered and processed through Payfast’s systems. EditMe Websites does not directly store your complete card or banking details.
A service will only be considered purchased once payment has been successfully confirmed.
Delivery and commencement
Website maintenance begins immediately after payment has been confirmed.
By completing your payment, you request and consent to EditMe Websites beginning the service immediately.
Delivery takes place electronically through the performance of the maintenance services purchased. Any reports, confirmations or other service communication will be sent using the contact details supplied by you.
Access to your website and any other information reasonably required to perform the service must be provided when requested. Delays in providing access or information may affect our ability to perform the service.
Once off payments
A once off payment covers the maintenance service described on the relevant payment page, quotation or written agreement.
Once payment has been confirmed, work begins immediately and the payment is non refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Recurring subscriptions
Recurring maintenance subscriptions may be billed monthly or quarterly, depending on the option selected when subscribing.
By starting a recurring subscription, you authorise Payfast to collect the applicable subscription amount automatically on each scheduled billing date.
The subscription will continue until it is cancelled in accordance with these terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details remain valid and that sufficient funds are available on the scheduled billing date.
If a recurring payment fails, maintenance services may be suspended until payment has been received.
Cancellation of recurring subscriptions
You may cancel a recurring maintenance subscription by emailing maintenance@editme.co.za.
Cancellation requires at least one month’s written notice. To prevent the next scheduled renewal, your cancellation request must reach us at least one month before the next billing date.
Maintenance will continue until the end of the billing period that has already been paid for.
Payments already processed are non refundable, and no partial refund or credit will be provided for unused time remaining in a monthly or quarterly billing period, except where required by applicable law.
Cancelling a recurring payment directly through your bank, card provider or Payfast does not replace the requirement to notify EditMe Websites.
Refund policy
Payments for website maintenance services are non refundable because work begins immediately after payment confirmation.
If EditMe Websites is unable to provide the purchased service, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate resolution. This may include completing the service at another agreed time, providing an alternative service or issuing a refund where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

To the extent permitted by law, EditMe Websites will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use or interruption of the services.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
